Child Development Center Operations Manager

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a qualified Child Development Center Operations Manager to lead our Before and After School Program at John Brainerd Elementary School in Mount Holly, NJ.
Compensation:The salary for this part-time, non-exempt position is $18-$21 per hour.
About the Role:This is a dynamic leadership position responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Healthy Kids Program Site. As the operations manager, you will be the driving force behind every aspect of the program's success.
Key Responsibilities:- Guiding Compliance: Ensure that staff and the program adhere to OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school rules.
- Directing Engaging Activities: Oversee hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and more.
- Managing Essential Tasks: Maintain accurate attendance and registration records, ensure proper staffing levels, and keep the program running smoothly.
- Maintaining Open Communication: Use the Playground App to maintain open lines of communication with parents and family members.
- Fostering Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with direct reports, ensuring they are up-to-date on daily occurrences and addressing any issues promptly.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Psychology, Health Care, Nursing, or a related field; or Teaching Certification from the Department of Education in Elementary Education, Nursery School, Preschool through Third Grade (P-3), or Teacher of the Handicapped. Plus, six Early Childhood credits and two years of experience working with children.
- An alternative option includes a Bachelor's Degree in any field other than those listed above, plus six Early Childhood credits and four years of experience working with children.
- A Head Teacher endorsement from the New Jersey Registry for Childhood Professionals, Professional Impact New Jersey.
