Job Summary

Mersen USA Holding Corp. is seeking a skilled Production Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling components, fitting, and/or adjusting interrelated parts. This role requires strong attention to detail, ability to read and interpret blueprints, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble materials and components according to specifications
  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and work orders
  • Clean parts thoroughly and prepare them for assembly
  • Review work activities with supervisor and ensure quality standards are met
  • Assemble units and subassemblies using lamination presses and other equipment
  • Tag components, subassemblies, and units as required
  • Correct defects as directed by supervisor and verify product conformance to specifications
  • Fabricate or modify parts using shop equipment and verify dimensions and clearances
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years mechanical assembly experience may be required
  • Basic reading skills and ability to follow directions
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems and think creatively
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with varying assignments based on business needs. Cross-training opportunities are available to contribute to the success of achieving daily goals. All individuals must be willing and able to be moved throughout the shop to contribute to the success of the organization.

Physical Demands
  • Regularly lift 20-30 pounds
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks
  • Regularly possess manual dexterity to assemble parts quickly and accurately
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
