Cancer Partners of Nebraska (CPN) is a leading cancer treatment center in the region, seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology department in Kearney, Nebraska. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate delivery of radiation therapy treatments to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Verify treatment plans and ensure accuracy and precision in radiation therapy delivery.
- Perform quality assurance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of radiation therapy equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation oncology and medical physics.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new treatment modalities and technologies.
- PhD or M.S. in Therapeutic Radiological Physics.
- Board Certification by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience in radiation oncology or a related field.
