Job Description:

Fidelity Investments is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Data Science to lead our data science initiatives and drive business outcomes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced data analytics and machine learning solutions to improve customer experience and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop large-scale data preprocessing, manipulation, and analytical tasks using advanced data wrangling and preprocessing methodologies.
  • Develop and implement supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms, including regression, decision trees, clustering, and hyperparameter optimization.
  • Research and build sophisticated artificial intelligence algorithms and models to improve customer experience and drive business outcomes.
  • Lead initiatives involving extensive multi-dimensional databases, complex business infrastructure, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate and present data science results and insights to both technical and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable understanding.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field.
  • Five years of experience as a Senior Manager, Data Science or a closely related occupation, performing data analytics, building statistical models, and developing business intelligence applications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in performing large-scale data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in large data warehouses with SQL, Apache Hive, or Python.
  • Experience designing and building machine learning models and deep learning models in Python using Scikit-Learn, Transformers, or PyTorch.
  • Ability to validate and assess model soundness and performance by conducting in-sample and out-of-sample testing using RMSE, R-squared, AUC ROC, Precision, or Recall.
