Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role is to implement and support the strategic vision of the Third Party Risk Assessment Program in daily operations, ensuring that all third parties, including new and existing clients and external partners, comply with the security, compliance, and reporting standards set by Early Warning.

  • Manage and execute third party risk assessment processes aligned with organizational goals.
  • Foster positive relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders to gain insights into third party interactions.
  • Analyze services provided or received to accurately assess risk ratings.
  • Review contracts with third parties to confirm adherence to security and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the risk assessment process for third parties and respond to audit requests.
  • Utilize knowledge of security and regulatory frameworks to enhance risk identification and reporting.
  • Evaluate compliance with IT controls through detailed examination of records and practices.
  • Compose clear and objective assessments and audit reports, detailing methodology and recommendations.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and control deficiencies with third parties.
  • Create impactful reports to communicate security and compliance concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Coordinate all phases of third party assessment activities effectively.
  • Support the commitment to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in IT Risk, Audit, or Information Security. Candidates should demonstrate strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is a solid understanding of information security, risk management, and compliance principles.

Preferred Skills

Professional certifications in information security are advantageous, as is familiarity with banking operations and compliance regulations. Experience with various IT security technologies and assessment processes is also beneficial.

Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based, requiring extensive computer use and the ability to perform sedentary tasks for extended periods. Candidates should be able to lift light weights occasionally and possess the visual acuity necessary for document handling.
