Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at MUSC Health Charleston. As a critical care specialist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care in our adult ICU, stepdown, and floorcare units.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to adult patients in critical care settings
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in adult critical care
  • BLS, RRT, and NRP certifications required
  • Adult critical care experience required
  • Ability to work in a high-acuity environment
Work Schedule

3x12hr night shifts, 7p-7a, including holidays as needed. No on-call requirement. Every other weekend required. Floating to sister facilities as needed.
