Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse Field Assessor with LHC Group, you will be responsible for conducting Long Term Care insurance assessments in a field-based setting. This role requires you to obtain claimant demographics, physician information, and evaluate the claimant's functional level of independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of claimants' functional abilities and cognitive status.
  • Collect and document claimant demographics, physician information, and current medication lists.
  • Evaluate claimants' ability to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).
  • Utilize point-of-care technology to document assessments in real-time.
Requirements
  • Current, unencumbered RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years of home health experience or 2 years of nursing experience in an equivalent area of practice serving the older adult population.
  • Professional liability insurance policy.
  • Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
