Position Overview

Course Structure
The Honors College Forum serves as a collaborative platform where students can explore significant questions and express their individual identities and perspectives. The curriculum encourages creativity through projects that address humanitarian issues, allowing students to develop their own Social Innovations.
Teaching Responsibilities
In this part-time position, the instructor will lead two sections weekly, guiding small groups of 16-20 students. Responsibilities also include conducting pre-semester sessions aimed at high-achieving first-year students from various academic backgrounds.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a Master's degree, with preference given to those who are ABD, advanced PhD candidates, or hold a doctorate. A demonstrated ability to teach at the university level is essential, along with prior teaching experience, preferably at Rutgers or a similar institution.
Skills and Experience
Ideal candidates will have experience in higher education settings and a commitment to mentoring students as they cultivate lifelong learning skills. Familiarity with project-based learning methodologies is advantageous.
