Speech Pathology Faculty Position at Touro College

At Touro College, we seek a highly qualified faculty member to join our esteemed team as an Instructor of Speech/Language Pathology. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to teach and mentor students in this field, while contributing to the growth and development of our institution.
Overview
This role will involve teaching four undergraduate courses per semester, maintaining office hours, advising students, and participating in curriculum revision. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the Department Chair and other faculty members to ensure the academic success of our students.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and report institutional outcomes for the Middle States Commission.
- Assist in the development and revision of curriculum to ensure its quality and relevance.
- Mentor adjunct faculty to support their teaching and professional development.
- Collect and submit program data to inform decision-making.
- Participate in college-wide committees to contribute to the growth and development of the institution.
- Attend meetings, orientations, and other events to promote the college and its programs.
- Abide by the responsibilities of teaching, service, and scholarship as outlined in the Faculty Handbook.
- Respond to student emails and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Master's level or Doctorate level degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Five years of clinical experience in the field.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in teaching and academia.
Salary
The estimated salary range for this position is $45,760 to $57,200 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
