Role Purpose:

Engage with families to build a supportive and trusting relationship. Collaborate with parents to enhance their understanding of child development, health, nutrition, and available community resources while assisting them in overcoming challenges.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Family Services, Social Work, or a related field.
    • National Family Support Certification (to be obtained with agency assistance post-hire)
  • No prior experience required.
    • Preferred: Two years of professional experience in relevant fields, particularly in social or family services.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and database management systems.
  • Possession of a valid Iowa Driver's License and eligibility for agency insurance coverage.
  • Must pass background checks to work in childcare environments as mandated by the Iowa Department of Human Services.
