We are a dynamic team at Baton Rouge General, committed to providing high-quality patient care. Our Phlebotomy Technician will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive accurate and timely test results.

Responsibilities
  • Perform proper waste removal from assigned areas and actively participate in maintaining the cleanliness of the laboratory area.
  • Ensure patient safety by adhering to BRGMC Safety Policy guidelines and demonstrate working knowledge of laboratory safety to include OSHA standards for handling blood borne pathogens.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to interact appropriately with a diverse population of customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to perform assigned duties in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
