POSITION: Youth Activities Center Worker


DEPARTMENT: Youth Activities


ROLE SUMMARY: The Youth Activities Center serves as a recreational childcare venue designed for youth engagement. The main focus of this role is to supervise and interact with the young members of our community. Additionally, staff members are responsible for maintaining accurate records of attendance and associated fees.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Foster a safe and enjoyable environment while building meaningful connections with the youth utilizing our center.
  • Perform basic childcare tasks such as diaper changes and feeding.
  • Maintain precise records of facility usage, participant engagement, and financial transactions.
  • Contribute to the organization and marketing of various activities and events.
  • Assist with the setup and dismantling of events.
  • Support the upkeep and organization of youth activity materials.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the Youth Activities Center.
  • Promote a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere for all youth participants.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by the Youth Activities Coordinator.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exemplary enthusiasm and a positive demeanor that inspires and engages others.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a focus on interpersonal interactions.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent time management skills, capable of juggling multiple tasks effectively.
  • A genuine passion for working with children.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • CPR and First Aid Certification (training will be provided).
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
