Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Walters Hospitality. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Collect and sort dirty dishes, utensils, and equipment, and load them into the dishwashing machine.
  • Unload and put away clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in their designated storage areas.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Assist with food preparation and service as needed.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive team atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ability to lift 10-25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Food Handlers Certificate is required.
