Position Overview:

The Kitchen Sanitation Specialist is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen wares, ensuring a hygienic environment for food preparation and service.

  • Thoroughly cleans all kitchen items including pots, pans, utensils, and glassware, utilizing both manual washing and dishwashing machines.
  • Accurately organizes and stores cleaned items in designated areas.
  • Restocks serving areas, cabinets, refrigerators, and other locations with necessary utensils and dishes.
  • Regularly sanitizes waste containers using water or steam methods.
  • Transports dishwashing supplies and equipment to the work area as needed.
  • May assist in the preparation and cleaning of various food items as directed by kitchen staff.
  • Maintains a safe, clean, and organized workspace, complying with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Performs additional related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to comprehend and execute instructions effectively.
  • Understanding of and adherence to restaurant health and safety standards.
