Key Responsibilities:
- The Security Risk Assessment Specialist will, under guidance, conduct comprehensive risk evaluations and assessments, establishing security criteria for all IT systems supported by ISD.
- Develop, design, and implement effective solutions to meet IT system security requirements, while collecting and organizing technical data regarding current security products, approved vulnerability management protocols, and procedures.
- Support the Security Controls Auditor in confirming the security measures and the Risk Management Framework eMASS inputs for all systems managed by ISD, and perform analyses of system vulnerability management, remediation strategies, and formulate necessary action plans and milestones.
- Ensure that risk evaluations align with relevant regulations and policies, while also supporting compliance requirements, whether internal or external.
- Assess, test, monitor, and uphold information security policies, procedures, and systems, including hardware, firmware, and software. The role will ensure that security designs, controls, and procedures conform to information security standards and effectively mitigate exposure risks.
