We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Specialist to join our team at Southeast LBM Holdco LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable and ensuring timely payment from customers.
Key Responsibilities- Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor and manage the company's accounts receivable, ensuring that all invoices are paid on time and that any discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Credit Evaluation: Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers, making recommendations for credit limits and payment terms.
- Collection and Follow-up: Follow up with customers to ensure timely payment, and work with the credit manager to resolve any issues or disputes.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to management.
- Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, identifying and mitigating any potential risks to the company.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience, with a minimum of 2+ years of credit experience.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge and Certifications: Knowledge of all relevant credit laws and regulations, and familiarity with credit best practices.
