About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead Technician to join our team at Dollar General. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our stores and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the maintenance activities of our Field-Based Maintenance Technicians
  • Conduct regular inspections of our stores and facilities to identify and address maintenance needs
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with store leaders and external vendors to resolve maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance technicians on best practices and new technologies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or completed coursework in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, with a focus on supervisory or leadership roles
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
