Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing students in activities designed to promote learning concepts, acquire skills, and develop positive attitudes. You will establish a positive classroom environment, provide learning experiences correlated with approved curriculum and state and district standards, and develop lesson plans that adapt to the needs of each pupil.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish a positive classroom environment conducive to effective instruction and learning
- Provide learning experiences correlated with approved curriculum and state and district standards
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that adapt to the needs of each pupil
- Communicate learning goals to students in a well-planned, organized manner using clear and precise language
- Facilitate small and large group instruction based on current research-based best practices
- Evaluate student growth and maintain accurate and complete records as required by state and federal law and district policy
- Establish oral and/or written lines of communication with guardians to discuss pupil progress
- Participate in team reviews concerning academic progress of low-performing/at-risk students
- Use site, district, and state assessment data to drive instruction and place students in appropriate instructional and/or intervention programs
- Effectively implement Individual Education Plans
- Assume responsibility for the supervision of students on school property or in attendance at school-sponsored activities
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- Appropriate and current Arizona Teaching Certificate
- Valid Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance card

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $65,000 to $72,000 per year. The expected hours are 30-40 per week, and the schedule is Monday to Friday. The work location is in-person.
