We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Virtua Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for the treatment, care, and management of patients with deficiencies and/or abnormalities of the cardio-respiratory system.

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will act as a clinical resource in all areas of patient care, contributing to the overall quality of patient care. You will perform assessments of patients and develop their respiratory plan of care, demonstrating competency in all aspects of invasive and non-invasive ventilator care.

You will also teach and reinforce education on disease process, treatment, and wellness to patients and/or families and the community at large. Additionally, you will set-up, operate, and maintain medical gas and airway humidification systems, and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to interact/interface with varying computer information management systems in order to document patient care related activities.

To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate of an AMA approved program of study in Respiratory Care with an Associate's Degree. You must also be registered as a Respiratory Therapist as determined by the National Board for Respiratory Care or Certified Respiratory Therapist with 10 years' experience, and licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the New Jersey State Board of Respiratory Care.

Responsibilities:
