Job Title: Direct Care Staff

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Staff to join our team at Abilities Inc.

Job Summary:

The Direct Care Staff will provide a safe, quality, professional, and caring service to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise residents according to their Individual Service Plans (ISP), Behavioral Support Plan (BSP), and Behavioral Intervention Plan (BIP).
  2. Provide personal care services, including lifting and transferring residents, and assist with daily living activities.
  3. Prepare meals and ensure sanitary methods are followed.
  4. Plan and participate in community and in-facility activities.
  5. Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and supervisors.
  6. Administer and monitor medications according to orders prescribed by residents' physicians.
  7. Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background Check or provide proof of rehabilitation.
  • Must be available to work 8-hour shifts every other Saturday and Sunday.
