About the Role

BrightStar Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated home care team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, working under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality personal care services, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, and light housekeeping, as directed by the client's plan of care.
  • Take and record vital signs, including height and weight, as necessary, and document any observed changes or concerns.
  • Assist clients with active and passive range of motion, as defined by the plan of care, and report any changes or concerns to the Director of Nursing.
  • Support clients with walking and transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and supportive environment for quality client care, adhering to established policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure clients' rights are respected and protected at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a nursing assistant program.
  • Certification as a CNA.
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
  • If not a CNA, must have CBRF certifications.
  • Minimum one year of documented experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Licensed driver.
  • Adherence to HIPAA and maintenance of client confidentiality.
