Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior JD Edwards Finance Consultant to join our team at KS2 Technologies. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support and guidance to our clients in the areas of financial management, accounting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide JD Edwards functional/application support for managed services and projects using creative and critical thinking skills.
  • Work closely with client business managers and end users to understand their financial processes and procedures.
  • Test and document application customizations, fixes, and interfaces.
  • Consult with users, technology liaisons, applications support personnel, and developers when researching solutions.
  • Assist with JD Edwards development.
  • Use SQL and scripting languages for data analysis and issue resolution.
  • Identify process improvements, requirements, and document with Solution Design Documents and Technical Specifications as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a JDE User in a variety of Accounting/Finance areas focused on financial modules including GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.
  • 10 years of experience as a JDE Support resource in a variety of Accounting/Finance areas focused on financial modules including GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.
  • 10 years of relevant accounting/financial experience with a solid understanding of common accounting processes and terminology as well as working in areas related to financial reporting and/or transaction processing.
  • Experienced user of standard desktop applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and various browsers.
  • Solid communication skills. Be able to present a knowledgeable and confident presence when communicating with clients and colleagues.
  • Desired: Experience in a professional services or consulting company.
  • Desired: Light experience with JDE development and other technical skills in areas such as databases, SQL, command batch scripts, Windows Servers, and integrations between systems.
  • Desired: Experience in Service Desk functions such as ticket triage, analysis, and resolution.
  • Useful: Other ERP experience (Oracle SaaS, Oracle E-biz, or others) in a financials capacity.
