Position Overview: The role of a Muse is to engage guests with captivating questions, foster memorable conversations, and create delightful interactions. A Muse guides guests through an experience that transforms traditional sales into lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Engagement:

  • Provide a warm and confident welcome to all guests.
  • Build long-term relationships by asking intriguing questions and suggesting event ideas.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work effectively within a team environment.
  • Offer and receive constructive feedback sincerely.
  • Celebrate the achievements of fellow team members.

Styling and Curation:

  • Articulate the Kate Spade New York aesthetic.
  • Utilize product knowledge to connect with guests through storytelling.
  • Inspire others with your personal style and maintain a polished appearance.
  • Identify and discuss products with enthusiasm.
  • Ensure the stockroom and retail space are impeccably organized.

Business Acumen:

  • Understand the product landscape across various categories.
  • Effectively multitask, from operational duties to processing transactions.
  • Share insights and feedback with the team.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional selling and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in luxury retail is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong team player.
  • A college degree is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting boxes up to 40 pounds safely.
  • Comfortable with climbing ladders.
