Foothill De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified Part-Time Chemistry Instructor to join our team. As a Chemistry Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Chemistry courses and contributing to the academic success of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Chemistry courses to students of varying skill levels and backgrounds.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and understanding of Chemistry concepts.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their knowledge and skills.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials.
- Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience teaching Chemistry courses at the community college level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
This is a part-time, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will be required to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
