About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist CRTT to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our respiratory care team.
Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for:
- Providing respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
- Conducting pulmonary function tests and interpreting results.
- Developing and implementing respiratory care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree from an accredited school for Respiratory Care, recognized by the NBRC.
- One year of experience in Respiratory Care, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Credentialing as a CRT by the NBRC upon hire.
- Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by the Texas Medical Board.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
