Job Title: Registered Nurse - Long Term Care

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse - Long Term Care is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care, a passion for working with older adults, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct resident assessments, identify care needs, and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
