Key Responsibilities

As an Avionics Shop Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionic components and systems. Utilizing a variety of testing equipment, you will work to restore components to manufacturer specifications. Your role will involve:

  • Demonstrating extensive knowledge of electronic theory, including digital, analog, electromechanical, and RF systems.
  • Applying at least one year of experience as a bench technician with a focus on electronic troubleshooting at the component level.
  • Working comfortably in a shop environment and collaborating with fellow technicians.
  • Interpreting schematics and utilizing various test equipment, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Assisting in the repair of components removed from aircraft and providing technical guidance to peers.
  • Promoting technician career development and supporting organizational objectives.
  • Holding a valid FCC license and driver's license.
