Interior Coating Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team at Installed Building Products. The successful candidate will have a strong background in painting and decorating, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply primers and paints to walls and ceilings using various techniques and equipment
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing any damage
• Use drop cloths and masking tape to protect surrounding areas from paint splatters
• Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
• Familiarize yourself with safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a painter in residential or commercial settings
• Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders and lifting heavy materials
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent color vision and sense of aesthetics
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Salary Range: $52,000 - $72,000 per year
