Wall Finishing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Wall Finishing Specialist to join our team at Installed Building Products. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands and have a passion for delivering high-quality finishes.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in applying primers and paints to walls and ceilings, as well as ensuring surfaces are properly prepared for painting.

As a Wall Finishing Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Applying primers and paints to interior walls and ceilings using a variety of techniques and materials.
• Protecting surrounding areas with drop cloths and masking tape to prevent damage and mess.
• Cleaning and maintaining painting equipment and tools to ensure they remain in good working order.
• FOLLOWING ALL SAFETY PROTOCOLS AND GUIDELINES TO ENSURE A SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT.
• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless execution of projects.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience as a painter in residential or commercial settings.
• Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials, including primers, paints, and finishes.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders and lifting heavy materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality to ensure that all finished surfaces meet our high standards.
• Excellent color vision and sense of aesthetics to create visually appealing finishes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
• Good communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
