We are seeking a highly skilled Referral Coordinator to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a Referral Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our Centralized Referral Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to incoming calls, providing assistance to patients and their requests.
  • Assist patients in completing necessary forms and obtaining hospitalization or pre-certification from various insurance carriers.
  • Complete referral forms and follow up with insurance carriers to ensure coverage is approved.
  • Provide in-service education to physicians, staff, and others regarding updates and changes in the referrals process.
  • Perform other related work as necessary to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow and patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a Referral Coordinator (preferred)
  • Medical Assistant certification (preferred)
