Job Description

Klute Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all materials meet customer specifications and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect materials to ensure they meet customer specifications and company standards.
  • Perform non-destructive examination (NDE) on materials using methods including visual, magnetic particle, and ultrasonic testing.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with production team to ensure that all materials meet quality standards.
  • Identify and report any quality issues or defects to management.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree in manufacturing processes or related field preferred.
  • UT and MT Certification required.
  • Certification as a NDT Level I required.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand manufacturing processes.
  • Working knowledge of AISC preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing quality assurance system preferred.
Physical Demands:
  • Standing and/or walking 50% of the time.
  • Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Ability to view computer monitor.
  • Frequent alpha/numeric keyboarding.
