Pharmaceutical Care Specialist

Job Summary
Rogers Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Pharmaceutical Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying medication orders, interpreting physician orders, and detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
- Interpret physician orders to ensure proper medication administration
- Detect therapeutic incompatibilities and recommend alternative treatments
- Monitor drug therapies and provide pharmacologic information to healthcare providers
- Advise healthcare providers on medication interventions and provide education on proper medication use
Requirements
- Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician licensure
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
