POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in fostering a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment, ensuring that our core values and guiding principles are integral to all store operations. This position is essential in delivering an exceptional customer experience while maximizing profitability.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Performance:

Achieve company sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and sharing product knowledge with customers. Assist customers in selecting merchandise that aligns with their preferences and needs.

Stay informed about current promotions and pricing strategies, maintaining visual merchandising standards.

Ensure adherence to merchandise handling and presentation protocols, loss prevention measures, and other responsibilities as assigned by management.


Customer Service Excellence:

Exemplify and promote the principles of Outstanding Personal Service (OPS), ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience for customers.

Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.

Facilitate a quick and efficient checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, coupon usage, returns, exchanges, and security protocols.

Encourage customer participation in loyalty programs and build lasting relationships through personalized service.


Operational Support:

Assist in maintaining a well-stocked and visually appealing store environment.

Contribute to visual merchandising initiatives, including floor layouts, window displays, and signage as directed.

Help maintain store cleanliness and organization.


Team Collaboration and Development:

Foster a collaborative atmosphere that encourages problem-solving and teamwork.

Seek opportunities for personal growth and actively request feedback to enhance performance.

Other duties may be assigned as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to adapt to technology utilized by the company.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to engage effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Consistent attendance is vital to meet company objectives, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Regular walking and standing throughout the shift, with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Frequent climbing may be required.
