Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician Peds and Adolescent to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals at Chippenham Hospital, a part of HCA Healthcare. As a leading provider of quality patient care, we invest in our employees' growth and well-being.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year

In this role, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and assist the nursing staff in providing patient care within the Behavioral Health Department. Your primary function will be to provide behavioral health care interventions utilizing the least restrictive interventions that are consistent with a culture of recovery and Trauma Informed Care. You will perform vital signs, assist patients with activities of daily living, and assist with treatments or procedures within documented level of competency. Additionally, you will provide for the safety of patients, visitors, and staff by completing routine and special safety checks.

Required Qualifications:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
  • High School Graduate / GED
