Job Title: Data ModelerJob Description:
  • Develop and maintain logical and physical data models to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Create and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories to support data governance and quality standards.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into data models and schema designs to meet business needs.
  • Design, develop, and optimize PLSQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages to enhance database performance.
  • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Perform database performance tuning and query optimization to enhance system performance and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Work closely with application developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide technical support.
  • Document data models, database designs, and development processes to ensure knowledge sharing and reuse.
  • Create reports and dashboards as needed to support business decision-making and maintain up-to-date documentation for ongoing and future reference.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Oracle PLSQL and SQL.
  • Strong experience with data modeling tools, such as ERwin and Oracle Data Modeler.
  • Proven track record in database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Familiarity with database management and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with other database management systems, such as SQL Server and MySQL.
  • Knowledge of data integration and ETL tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based databases and technologies.
