Job Overview

360 Rail Services, LLC is a leading provider of railroad design, construction, and maintenance services. We are seeking a skilled Track Laborer to join our team in Englewood, CO.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks, including track maintenance and repair, turnout component replacement, and operating company vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to industry standards and company policies to ensure a safe working environment
  • Repair and replace track components, including rail, ties, plates, spikes, and timber crossings
  • Inspect tracks, track beds, and right-of-way to detect and report problems or defects
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment, ensuring daily maintenance and inspections are completed
  • Perform special duties, including administrative tasks, as assigned by the Track Maintenance Foreman
Requirements
  • Railroad industry experience, including track maintenance and construction, is preferred but not necessary
  • Track Inspection Guideline Certification is an asset
  • Ability to read and understand specific documents, including schedules, standard railway plans, and specifications
  • Ability to understand and efficiently carry out instructions
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of computers is helpful
Physical Requirements and Attendance
  • Works outdoors at construction sites, exposed to all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures
  • Frequently stands, walks, climbs, balances, lifts, bends, and moves objects up to 90 pounds
  • Exposed to live track/trains, high voltage, and loud noise
  • Ability to work rotating shifts
  • Travel is required
