Role Overview:
This pivotal role involves overseeing regulatory and scientific affairs within a dynamic team environment. You will be instrumental in guiding a group of regulatory specialists focused on compliance and strategic initiatives related to animal nutrition and pet products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate closely with the Global Head of Regulatory Affairs to align on strategic objectives.
2. Lead a team dedicated to navigating the regulatory landscape in North America and Canada.
3. Proactively monitor regulatory changes and trends to safeguard the business interests.
4. Represent the organization in discussions with external regulatory bodies and trade associations.
5. Ensure compliance with market authorization for both ingredients and finished products.
6. Develop and implement regulatory strategies to expedite product launches and enhance market presence.
7. Provide guidance on product labeling and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) in accordance with company standards.
8. Address inquiries from customers and regulatory authorities effectively.
Candidate Profile:
- Master’s degree in Animal Nutrition, Toxicology, Food/Feed Law, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within regulatory affairs.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for influencing stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English is essential; additional languages are advantageous.
