Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel position in Troy, Ohio.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Independently perform Nuclear Medicine procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Work under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture.
  • Coordinate patient flow and the activities of the Nuclear Medicine department, including radiation protection practices.
  • Exercise professional judgment in the performance of duties to maintain equipment in good working condition.
  • May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs.
  • May have on-call responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • Nuclear Medicine registry required.
  • ODH licensure required.
  • ARRT RT (R) registry required and/or NMTCB.
  • One year experience in specialized field of Nuclear Medicine preferred.
