Inventory Management Specialist

Job Description

Aerotek is seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to assist with managing inventory in the maintenance department.

The ideal candidate will perform cycle counts, replenish supplies, organize inventory, and coordinate with engineers, designers, and maintenance technicians to ensure proper material and supplies are ordered.

Inventory types include electric motors, gaskets, seals, bearings, sprockets, connectors, wire, and custom molding equipment. The role also involves assisting with re-organizing the inventory department and improving the efficiency of the inventory process.

Recently, an ERP system was purchased for maintenance department inventory, so the candidate will assist with registering items, assigning bar codes, and storing products accordingly.

Responsibilities:

Perform cycle counts and inventory audits
Replenish supplies and maintain inventory levels
Organize and maintain inventory records
Coordinate with engineers, designers, and maintenance technicians to ensure proper material and supplies are ordered
Assist with re-organizing the inventory department and improving the efficiency of the inventory process
Assist with registering items, assigning bar codes, and storing products accordingly

Requirements:

2+ years' inventory experience
2+ years' ERP experience
Experience in ordering/replenishing/restocking inventory
Forklift experience

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in Spring, Texas. The work environment is non-climate controlled.
