Role Overview
The Gucci Loss Prevention Officer will collaborate with the store management team to oversee loss prevention initiatives, ensuring a secure environment while safeguarding company assets.
This position will also be responsible for maintaining adherence to all security and loss prevention protocols through effective training and auditing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Mitigate losses by fostering teamwork and providing training to retail management and staff;
- Manage emergency situations, ensuring the safety and security of all team members and clientele;
- Formulate strategies to achieve and sustain shrinkage results that align with company standards;
- Assist in the recruitment, training, scheduling, and overall management of security personnel;
- Engage in store meetings and conduct individual training sessions with team members to enhance awareness of loss prevention and safety policies;
- Collaborate with management to ensure merchandise is secured according to loss prevention guidelines;
- Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor;
- Support management in addressing theft incidents, cash discrepancies, and safety-related reporting;
- Build and maintain professional relationships with store personnel;
- Establish connections with local law enforcement and security partners;
- Ensure the proper operation of all store security systems, including CCTV, EAS, and Access Control;
- Assist the Regional Security Manager with special initiatives;
- Contribute to all health and safety measures;
- Support management in organizing, preparing, and executing physical inventories;
- Proactively monitor store operations to identify potential dishonest behavior.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in loss prevention or security-related roles;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to assess situations quickly and make informed decisions;
- Proven track record in implementing successful loss prevention, safety, and fraud prevention programs;
- Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision;
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate business needs.
Qualified candidates must possess the appropriate work authorization to be employed in the United States.
