Job Description

Desert Peace Therapy is a Las Vegas-based practice specializing in individualized therapy for children, couples, and individuals. We focus on creating a warm, supportive environment that emphasizes evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy.

Our practice prioritizes a mindful, collaborative approach to mental health care, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Position Overview:
This is a full-time, W2 employee position performing in-person and telehealth therapy sessions, determined by both client needs and therapist preference.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and supervisors
  • Provide individual therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and progress notes
  • Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure holistic care for clients
  • Stay informed about best practices and developments in the field of mental health therapy

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Licensed as an MFT-I, CPC-I, LCSW, LMFT, or LCPC
  • Strong clinical skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, or related modalities preferred, but not required
  • Experience working with children, individuals, or couples in a therapeutic setting preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Passionate about providing personalized, client-centered care

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Estimated Annual Compensation: $60,000 – $80,000, based on licensure and experience, with compensation determined by hourly therapy sessions and related administrative hours worked
  • Schedule: Flexible Work-Life Balance. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM, with sessions outside of regular office hours agreed upon between therapist and client
