Position Overview:
The Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator plays a crucial role in the assembly process by managing and operating advanced SMT machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the operation of SMT assembly machinery, including Screen Printers, Pick and Place Machines, Reflow Ovens, and X-Ray Machines.
- Load circuit boards into the machines, select components, and conduct visual inspections of the assembled products.
- Follow directives from supervisors, assess task efficiency and quality, and communicate any issues that arise.
- Support team members through training initiatives and troubleshooting efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- A high school diploma is mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to adhere to instructions.
- Familiarity with SMT machinery and IPC standards is essential.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is advantageous.
