Position Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) plays a crucial role in the analysis and preparation of consolidated financial outcomes, annual strategic plans, quarterly forecasts, and comprehensive reporting in accordance with Magna's established policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and consolidate global quarterly forecasts and annual business strategies as part of the global office team.
- Develop financial presentations for quarterly reviews with senior leadership.
- Collaborate with various divisions to address forecasting and financial reporting challenges.
- Participate in the preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements and journal entries.
- Generate month-end reports for executive and group management review.
- Analyze financial performance across divisions compared to forecasts and business plans.
- Manage monthly capital expenditure analysis and reporting.
- Evaluate and address identified financial reporting deficiencies, assisting in the development of corrective actions and follow-up.
- Oversee the quarterly SOX 302 certification process.
- Engage in annual detailed accounting reviews across all operational divisions.
- Prepare and coordinate quarterly and annual information for external auditors.
- Conduct financial analyses as requested by senior management.
- Undertake additional duties and special projects as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial reporting within a large public corporation or public accounting firm.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial applications such as Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on comprehensive analysis and problem-solving.
- High initiative with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a global environment with cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills, interacting effectively with all organizational levels.
- Capable of providing training or guidance to divisional Finance Managers/Controllers as needed.
