Shift Details: 5:20 PM to 5:50 AM, following a 2-2-3 rotation. Compensation is approximately $24.42, influenced by experience with opportunities for advancement.
The Bottling Line Technician is accountable for the efficient operation of the bottle filling and capping machinery, as well as the decasing and case packing processes. This role requires the safe handling of equipment, troubleshooting operational issues, performing equipment changeovers, conducting quality assessments, and executing basic maintenance tasks. The Technician will also provide safety, quality, and operational guidance to temporary staff assisting in the area.
- Adhere to safety protocols in the work environment, prioritizing safety during operations, maintenance, and equipment setup. Report any safety concerns, incidents, or near misses immediately and submit necessary safety work orders. Actively participate in the plant's Behavior-Based Safety program and engage in facility-wide safety inspections and accident investigations. Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring the Bottling Department meets daily production targets while complying with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Utilize resources such as Work Instructions (WI's) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to uphold safety, quality, and food safety benchmarks. The Technician will perform equipment changeovers to support the production schedule.
- Ensure compliance with all Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and Environmental Policies and Practices. Own the Standard Operating Procedures for bottling line positions and execute tasks in alignment with these standards. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance performance and implement quality-driven actions that yield award-winning results. Maintain the work area and facility according to established standards, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction through quality finished products and internal service.
- Strive for performance improvement as indicated by departmental Key Performance Indicators. Understand and adhere to all SOPs and best practices to maintain the highest quality standards for bottling lines and customer service. Proactively generate ideas to enhance the daily operations of the bottling processes. Optimize resources to improve quality inspections, labeling, and overall machine operation. Foster effective communication across departments; meet financial objectives by managing costs and minimizing waste without compromising product quality.
- Execute assigned responsibilities as a Bottling Technician, which encompass all tasks related to the bottling line, including case feeding, quality inspection, case packing, and labeling. Perform all duties responsibly and in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Accurately complete all necessary documentation, including comprehensive records of inspections conducted.

Qualifications/Requirements
Required
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds unaided
- Good physical health, capable of standing, sitting, climbing, bending, kneeling, and squatting
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong vision and manual dexterity
- Competence in operating industrial equipment as required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a proven ability to perform work with high accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently
