Job Title: Radiology Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Texas Health Dallas. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Assist radiologists with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
  • Correctly send and transfer images to PACS.
  • Explain procedures to patients or guardians/family members if applicable prior to exams.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required or Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-year radiologic technician experience w/out ARRT – CT required or No experience w/ ARRT - CT.
  • ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, R, upon hire required and ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic, CT, w/no radiology technician experience upon hire or ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, CT, w/1 year radiology technician experience within 12 months of hire.
  • CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, either by TDH or TMB, upon hire and BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
