Transforming Lives through Neuroscientific Research and Clinical Practice

The Child Mind Institute, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families struggling with mental health and learning disorders, is seeking an exceptional Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role will provide opportunities to participate in various aspects of our clinical practice, including comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults. Typical presentations include individuals with language or learning disorders, ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, and other conditions that impact school functioning.

This position offers a unique blend of research, clinical practice, and community engagement. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our multidisciplinary team, contributing to cutting-edge research initiatives and collaborating on innovative projects aimed at improving outcomes for children and families. In addition, this role provides opportunities for professional growth and development through training and mentorship opportunities.

About the Role:
• Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide individualized care and support
• Participate in research studies and contribute to the development of new interventions and programs
• Contribute to the creation of educational resources and materials for parents, caregivers, and educators
• Foster strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders to advance our mission

Requirements:
• Doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical psychology
• Completion of an APA-approved clinical pre-doctoral internship
• Completion of post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology
• Current New York State psychology license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility with work schedule to meet productivity goals and deadlines
