Job Summary

Fishbeck is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to join our Infrastructure Division in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent client interaction skills, and the ability to plan and manage design efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design efforts for maintenance of traffic, signing, pavement marking, and traffic signals.
  • Conduct traffic impact studies, safety studies, signal optimization, and traffic forecasting.
  • Develop proposals and reports.
  • Manage projects and design tasks.
  • Mentor staff and coordinate project efforts with other disciplines.
Requirements
  • Professional Engineer license in Ohio.
  • 10+ years of ODOT-related traffic engineering and maintenance of traffic experience.
  • Experience with ITE Trip Generation Manual and traffic studies.
  • Proficient with MicroStation software.
