We are a wonderful combination of friendly residents and kind staff, located in Southbury, CT. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents, and we are seeking a hospitality-focused Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide care to residents according to their individualized plan of care and facility policies and procedures.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, grooming, eating, and bathing.
  • Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, and procedures.
  • Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
  • Answer signal lights promptly and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
  • Participate in the Resident Centered CARES Dining Service, which offers individualized menu choice and flexibility in dining times.
  • Monitor and document intake and output, and measure and record height and weight.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a State-approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
  • Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred.
  • Registration with the State registry is required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to use a computer to document care given.
