Job Overview

This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of housekeeping associates, ensuring that all guest rooms and public spaces meet our brand standards, and coordinating with other departments to provide efficient and timely services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train housekeeping associates to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and service.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and delivery of services.
  • Forecast staffing and supply needs to maintain effective scheduling and ordering.
  • Manage the Lost and Found process, communicating with guests and scheduling item returns.
  • Promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts within the hotel.
  • Assist with scheduling associates according to business levels.
  • Lead daily stand-ups with the housekeeping team to discuss priorities and goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements
  • Six months of housekeeping and/or related experience.
  • Hospitality experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in software applications.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds regularly.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring walking, standing, and bending.
