Position Overview:


The Tax Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting clients or organizations throughout the tax filing process, ensuring that tax returns are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.

Tax Specialist Job Details:
  • Schedule: Flexible Hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Options for both Full Time and Part Time roles available.
  • Compensation: $33.65 - $48.07 per hour
Tax Specialist Job Responsibilities:
  1. Guiding clients or organizations through the intricacies of tax preparation.
  2. Gathering necessary financial documentation, such as income statements and pay stubs.
  3. Entering data from financial documents into tax preparation software or databases.
  4. Applying relevant federal, state, and local tax regulations to ascertain deductions and calculate client returns.
  5. Completing and submitting tax forms to the appropriate authorities, including the IRS and local government agencies.
  6. Representing clients in dealings with relevant agencies as necessary.
  7. Fostering client relationships to enhance and grow the business.

Tax Specialist Job Qualifications:
  1. 5-7 years of experience in corporate, partnership, or individual tax preparation.
  2. Proficient computer skills, including email and documentation.
  3. CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  4. Experience with Ultra Tax is a plus but not required.
  5. Excellent communication abilities.
